How do I go about suing my ex landlord for permitting people to live inside a commercial zoned area?

These people have disrupped my business so much I closed this weekend! I had the business for 5 years and this past year I have had several berak-ins. It’s because 2 of the resedence invited new friends to stay with them and Im the only business with a shower.I can’t prove it’s them because when my alarm goes off they just go into the next building and I get charged $85.00 for a false alarm! The owner and manager is allowing this to go on so I have moved out. Now I would like to sue the owner and manger for loss of business. I have several pictures and video of proof someone was getting in I just don’t have faces to go along with it.
There are cameras around the outside of the building but I havent been allowed to see the video from them. When I talk to the owner or manager they say nobody is getting in. I have pictures of how they can get in from inside the building.

There are two things you could do.
1. Contact your city or county (whoever has zoning authority) code enforcement division and file a complaint.
2. Hire an attorney and file a civil suit.

I would try #1 first, since it will be cheaper. If it doesn’t work then go with plan 2.
