What is the procedure of police investigation of a suicidal person?

hi I'm 19 years old and live in Vancouver BC and the Vancouver police came to my door at 4 am last night because someone in CA called the police saying it was suicide because of things he sent when drunk at a forum Internet i told them it was a hoax (it was) and apologized to them for having come, but I am curious if the investigation process is complete? took leave of drive # and mobile phone number (they will notify my teachers at school are able to record my telephone conversations? etc) also is this something going in my file saying employers and border officials have access to? Will I have difficulty traveling?

If you were without them, the investigation is over. arrests are a matter of public record, but investigations are not. Your teachers and future employers do not know. They took their information if you receive a similar complaint in the future, they will be able to find you.
