Supreme Alarm

Who in the U.S. today does NOT have a diminished expectation of privacy?

Specifically in random drug testing, the supreme court has ruled in three seperate cases that Railroad workers, Customs workers and School students in sports programs all have a diminished expectation of privacy.

Several lower courts have upheald random drug testing for other professions that have been appealed to the supreme court but have been refused.

So if I work in the store at the mall that sells burglar alarm systems, do I automatically have a diminished expectation of privacy and therefore subject my urine to search at my employers will?
If it were ruled that my urine is searchable, should also my house?

yes. You have accepted that diminished expectation of privacy in return for your job.

If you don’t like it – go work for McDonald’s.
