Wires cut, will these appliances still work?
I know a lot of smart burglary suspects may cut phone lines or cut the wire to a burglar alarm before entering a home in order to not be detected. We’ve tried to prevent this, but am curious if it would actually work.
We do have an alarm system. Of course the wires can be cut, but the system also has a battery back-up. Also, all the phones within our house are cordless and sit in a charger. In the event that someone tried to get into our home, would the alarm system and phones still work since they have battery back-up/are cordless?
The alarm would still work, but if the main phone line is cut the phones will not work.
