Septic Alarms

Do I need to contact a lawyer for fraud seller?
I just bought a house 1 week ago. To make a long story short, my sheet that stated that the house had public water and sewer. Within days we began to notice that the toilets were not flushing. Sat an alarm goes off in the laundry room. It was for a septic system. We went for three and a half days working with no bathroom, water, etc. never revealed that the house was in a septic system. Needless to say we had to spend $ 500 today only for its operation, to use the facilities. It will cost a total of $ 3000 to fix. He lied. the seller knew it was septic. I have a document he wrote out on deadline day he did with all our public services. One of the names was for a aeration system. We are new homeowners thought the word meant cleaning up the garbage service. We went to our realtor and bascially said they were sorry. I never would have bought this house if I knew there was no public sewer system. What should I do?
Yep. Call a lawyer. They will be able to review these documents and will tell you if they really have a case or not. You can also complain to the Real Estate Board and state regulators as well. Some states and cities have stricter requirements than others about the disclosure. Most require disclosure well and septic as an affidavit signed by the seller at closing. If that's what you have, you have a strong case.
