Music Alarm Clock Application

I need an alarm clock that wakes me up gently, perhaps using a less invasive beeping, music or using light?

I am terrible at getting up in the morning and need an alarm clock that doesnt create such an unpleasant sensation.

I am considering buying a physical one, but if an application for my macbook does the job, thats great!
