Advice need on Blocking diode. Electronic flasher/indicator unit problem?

I have fitted a 0w to 100w flasher unit & LED bulbs to my motorcycle. The problem is that the LED’s do not flash on and off but dim instead.

I would take the alarm out of the light circuit thier by elliminating any current drain to ground. Could it be that the ground on the flasher circuit has poor continuity?
