how does the alarm of a digital clock set off?

We have a project, an invention actually. See we’re going to attach this vibrating motor thingy from my PS2 controller and connect it to the alarm clock. So what I’m asking is, where do I attach the wire? which part of the clock should I connect the wire to? I f you have no idea about the digital clock, the wind- up clock will do (the one with the two bells that ring).

on the clock chip, there is a “alarm” pin. This is connected to a driver, could be another chip or transistor to drive a switch or sound source.

You need the schematic to see which pin it is on the clock.

After you know the pin, you then need to build an interface to drive the motor or anything else you want to hook up.

The system consists of a control panel and three sensor floats. The non-corrosive, indoor and /or outdoor enclosure comes pre-assembled. The panel exterior features a large red alarm beacon.
