make your own alarm system
What is making my battery cables hot car?

I owned a 02 Dodge Durango and I forgot the last time you changed my battery. Two weeks ago I received an alarm installed and a new stereo system in my car, however, that don "t push the whole system the road. My car battery decided to die today and I realize that the wires were hot. I jumped it and made sure that the wires are closely linked and let the battery charge, once again I could not go out tonight from my car died again and the wires were hot. What could be the problem, heated batteries old or is that my alarm to take so much power? Thanks for your time

There is a high resistance connection to battery cables. Make sure the battery terminals are tight and free of corrosion buildup. Then check the cables where they are also tight, neg battery usually goes to the car frame or engine ground lug. The positive is going to the starter solenoid and disintegration in feeding the fuse box. If everything else looks good, change the battery in case of a short procedure, and new battery cables and connectors. Best for those of the distributor and cost a bit but has all the right connections. Also, if you want to try your luck, there are local salvage yard that stock wrecked Dodge parties can ask too. Its not the alarm of his seizure of power, which only uses a little.
