Good/Inexpensive Los Angeles Alarm Co.?

Hi! We just moved to the Los Angeles area and I was wondering if anyone had any recomendations for a Home Security/ Alarm company? In Dallas, where we used to live I went on the boards and asked this same question and someone recomended THE BEST Locally owned Alarm company. They were just $17 a month with no contracts! I obviously know about the big ones, but I was hoping to strike gold again with perhaps a local one here that is cheaper and works. Thanks so much!
