If a speaker dock is compatible with iPod classic, does that mean it will also work with the new 120GB 7G iPod?

I am new to the iPod world and plan on buying a new iPod classic 7G (120 MB). What speaker dock options are available to me? I see that some state they are classic compatible, but does that include the 7G 120 GB?

I am not looking for something expensive. Good quality sound, a remote, and an alarm feature would be awesome.
