Old alarm system at home?
Very good. My wife and I are in the process of buying a home. Almost done. The house has a security system already installed at home. All doors, all windows, motion sensors, the way you want. The system is in APX. I prefer to go with ADT after reading through revisions. I THE PROBLEM here …… I said a partner of ADT could easily use existing equipment, provided that replaces the keyboard. My concern is that APX, "the old company, might try to pick the team if we do not use their services. I've been told by the associate ADT and others that once you close custody, the house and everything that is legally ours. How true is that?? Is there any way APX could try and collect the equipment?? I do not know if the previous owners the conditions of his contract, but who cares? They could not legally enter our house and have the right equipment?? I would very much appreciate any advice.
The system is yours. Normally, when an alarm system is installed, the owner pays and owns the team. With the company I work for the only reason the company would never take a case of a rental, which is not common. Most of our customers buy the real system. We have many people who rent. Chances are if it was a rental system would have the company came and got it for now. But you can always call to confirm APX Right? Tell them you bought a house in this direction and wanted to make sure that the system belonged to the former owners. Will also be asked people who are buying the house? They would know. One advice: Are you sure ADT? I've heard some bad things about them … perhaps look at them a little more before making your final decision? Good luck!
