They are all created equal … free firewall?

Ok guys, I do not understand … maybe someone can enlighten me. I've always heard, "use this firewall, use that firewall is better "and so on. The truth is that over the past year, I've tried most of the well known free, Comodo, Zone Alarm, PC Tools, Online Armor (Vista), etc. .., and they all (everyone) has always exceeded all the "Shields Up" test.
