helppp!!! 10 points:)?

my first alert smoke alarm is going off randomly….. we have unplugged all power cords and it still beeps, they all go off at once for no reason, there is no fire and no smoke. how can I stop the horrible thing??

What you probably have is a “wired” or electrically hooked up smoke detector system with back up batteries in each detector. These batteries have probably gone dead over time and that’s why the detectors are beeping. It wants you to replace its back-up batteries. Usually this takes a twist of a cover to get to the battery.
Hope this is your problem, otherwise the detectors themselves might need to be replaced. (from build-up of dust or crud)
