Chicago Alarm

HELP ME HELP ME i THINK SOMEONE IS BROKEN INTO OUR HOUSE!!!!!!!?

OMG OMG OMG!!!! I’m 13, and I’m on summer vacation. I’m home alone today, and I’m used to it. I’m in my room, and there’s a storm outside. A huge storm. I live in the center of Chicago.
I know for a fact that I turned our security alarm on, and the motion dectectors are on in our basement. I am upstairs in my room and I thought I heard like a door open. But that couldn’t be possible because the alarm would go off. A window couldn’t break because then the alarm would go off, that that’s even louder than if a door opens. Our front gate is also locked. We just moved into this brand new house in February, and we have temporary blinds. I can hear the temporary blinds move with wind. I called my mom and she said she’ll come from work and get me. Her work is like 15 minutes away from our house. I’m scared out of my mind. I have my two small dogs in my room, and my door is locked.
I don’t hear any footsteps.

What can I do until my mom comes home? This is no joke. Serious answers only!

Not much I can do from here but keep a phone near by just in case. and call somebody every hour so you wont feel so alone. If something does happen the person on the phone can call for help.
