i want to put a alarm and remote start on my ford f150 2007 what modules do i need to bypass the factory equip?

Waht extra accesories do i need. My ignition key has a chip in it to start the truck. and i dont know if it has a factory security system.

If you are the original owner, look at the window sticker that was on the vehicle. It will tell you if it has the factory security system, or you can go to the selling dealer to have them pull the info. If you are not the original owner, you can go to the dealer and have them check the vehicle. They can tell you if your truck has a factory security system.
As far as a remote start, you can get the Ford system installed, which is comparable in cost to the aftermarkets, and is made specifically for the truck (minimal cutting and splicing). Everything you need is in the kit. Remember, most all remote start systems are for automatic transmission vehicles only. If yours has a manual trans, you may be out of luck.
