Is it OK to install this car alarm in my type of vehicle?

I am thinking of buying this car alarm: http://www.viper.com/Products/Product.aspx?ProductID=108 I'm thinking of installing in my Nissan Murano 2007, but am not sure because I'm thinking of getting a second car, probably used in 2000 to 2004 Rank year so I can use that for long trips I take, so do not put miles on my new vehicle obsurd. But I have heard and read that car alarms can be bad for cars, electrical systems, and other problems … So I wonder if I should put in the used car, or new, or even get 2 alarms and put them both? Do you think it would be OK? This is a Viper alarm, which has a good reputation for being one of the best … Any information and advice is appreciated! Thanks! Or, should not not even have an alarm? I had a car alarm / car starter installed in my car. No problem – just the wind. In any case, probably bad for the environment (the remote start bit). But as for the car alarm, no harm, provided it is professionally installed. Throw that sucker of!
