My car alarm was only pontificate, I took the battery off when I am coming back to do it again?

Oh i already need Honda_guy again … or someone who knows the 98 Honda Accord, 6 cyl, ex. It was at least 26 degrees last night and my son woke up to this alarming sound off appeared to be horn / alarm not only sounds like a kind of siren. Do not know what to do I thought someone was breaking in anyway, took the battery apart and stopped. I tried to put the key and turning everything and that has not work at all. When I put the battery on my back on, is it sound new? Thanks for all their responses.

Normally you have to shut the alarm to stop it. so if you connect the battery and the alarm goes off, then use the remote for the alarm to shut it down, or is a non-Honda alarm, use the switch inside the car. The alarms Honda, the keyless entry alarm is deactivated by opening the doors with the remote control. I suggest you do this – open the hood, so you can get to the battery. then closing vehicle doors with the key. connecting the battery. if it sounds the horn, use the remote to open the doors and lock them again. that the arming the alarm and it stops ringing. then use the remote to open the doors. if that fails, then it is not a Honda alarm and you have to find the switch inside the car to turn it off. hope that helps
