american alarms
A question of perspective – How wealthy Americans have in the grand scheme of things?

Point A – Americans have millions of computers, Xbox, iPod Nano, Jaguars and expensive Latte at Starbucks. Meanwhile, there are children dying of hunger around the world. An alarming number of U.S. companies are producing their goods in the 3rd world countries led by dictators hard because the production cost is cheaper than using the U.S. workforce. Point B – Most Americans are working to pay the debt. College loans and credit card debt many Americans have been chained to his desk and most likely never earn enough money to travel to Africa and Malaysia to see children starving themselves themselves. In fact, the majority of refugees from Hurricane Katrina were renters and so, when they lost their homes, or even get insurance money. Thus How rich are you Americans? Are the emperors new clothes? Or they are simply slaves to the system?

Yes, the average American is more ghetto-fab-rich rich, if not actually paid cash in your hands is what defines "rich." But as to the necessity and novelty go when many people in the U.S. than living in "poverty line" can have cell phones as a natural thing, I'd say we're still in high rollahs worldwide. Lose sleep because of the night "can not pay your cable bill is very different from losing sleep because their children are starving.
