i have cut through my alarm sensor wire now alarm wont work?

i have cut through my alarm sensor wire now alarm wont work, when i try to set alarm now the internal main box wont stop ringing, and the keypad is being very tempermental when i press the keys there is no response, so i cant reset or do anything, the alarm is a veritas R8.
have already rejoined wires to reconnect sensor but this does not solve the problem

rejoin with a repair link and try resetting the alarm.
