alarm that runs away
Why are police cars put on their sirens when they arrive at a burglary?

I mean that I think is good for when you need a person to stop, but in a case of a robbery at a house when they come home, put the sirens and alarms the latter instance the thieves and flee before the police can find. Why on earth are the police bother to do that? I think it should, since this is not the burglar alarm or a criminal if you want to call and can lock them up easy. What do you think?

I got your point. But imagine, a mobile police approached the crime scene without put on the siren, not thieves escape to safety, even if no sound, when they see the police mobile that is approaching? It's the same if they put the siren or not the police go there for what is the difference in sound or not? The sole purpose of putting the siren as loud as possible is because of traffic along the highway or highway to the scene. The police have to zig-zag their way to reach the point of emergence. So walk vehicles must stop or move to the right side of the road to make way for the mobile police in this situation. NO MATTER IF YOU CAN STILL police find the thieves or not. While arrive as soon as possible is the point of using the siren. If I'm the police I would use the siren, like FAST & FURIOUS movie to reach the crime scene. Well, only good if I could still find some of the bandits is the point of using the siren to eliminate all vehicles on the road. If none of the thieves is there, then you can use movements and call the research team to find forensic evidence.
