Toronto, Canada – GAO Instruments (www.GAOInstruments.com) has released its portable ADSL2+ Tester (GAO701C), a battery-powered and handheld communications test instrument particularly useful for installation, testing and maintenance of ADSL equipment. The tester is commonly used as a digital multi-meter to test subscriber telephone connectivity, line parameters, etc. It is suitable for tier-1 ADSL applications and is an ideal instrument for ADSL technicians and engineers.
GAO’s optimized ADSL2+ Tester is able to conduct tests while browsing previous records. It can be connected to a computer via a serial port that enables easy storage, analysis and printing of test data. The ADSL tester also has the ability to store seven test settings and one hundred groups of test results. It is used instead of ADSL MODEM to test Internet wire speed and bandwidth available for the user and is equipped with superior alarm for detection and indication.
