Alarm On Computer Vista
What is wrong with my computer?
My computer keeps freezing and has been for a while now but resently has gotten worse (mostly happens when im on the internet). There is also an icon on my tray when i hover over it,it says “sprtcmd.exe-Currupt file” everytime i click on it the icon disapears ive tried typing it in the start search but no program by that name comes up.
Details about my Computer:
its Wiindow vista
i have avast, superantispyware, malwarebytes, and zone alarm downloaded on my computer
i have defragmenter on a schedualed run
i clean my disks with ccleaner
computer doesn’t freeze while in safe mode
i update computer offten
everytime it freezes i have to reboot the computer
It may be that the file that is corrupted is one that is used by the computer to run it’s everyday tasks. It may be that the file does work but it has problems and that is what is causing your computer to freeze. The only way I know of to fix this would be to re install the operating system. If you do not know how to do this I would try and take it to a specialist to see if he/she could re install it. Finally if that doesn’t work I would suggest trying to get the file from someone else.
