someone can sleep through your alarm?

my son says he can not get up in the morning and after singing the alarm. crank the volume is full and I can hear through the walls. I think hes full of it and listening and just doesn't want to get up. the alarm is right next to his head. would have to ears to sleep with him. is this possible?

I sleep through my alarm every morning. My boyfriend has to wake up to turn off. He understand how sleep either because I thought that is so strong and the side of my head. When I lived in an apartment, my neighbor said he went for 45 minutes once before I realized.
