how can i get help for a pregnant (8 months) fam. member who is severely addicted to heroin? she is in denial?

none of her doc’s/nurses will give me any info or numbers, and every treatment center I call says she must go willingly. I’m scared for the baby obviously and it must be so common of a problem in society that no one else is as alarmed as I am…please help/advise. She is in St. Louis

hi when she has her baby and it will be tested they will more than likely turn the baby over to child services you can’t really make her stop it will take a really reality check to make her stop but as hard as it might be she will have to want to come off of it herself because until she decides she has a problem you are wasting your time now i know you care and you should but while she is in denial you can’t help someone that want help themselves just be there for the baby and love her because yes she needs help but she will have to get it
