Comments Off I have a question about the APX alarm system?
Okay, so my dad got the APX alarm system from the guy that came to our door, and we have the sign in our front yard and stuff and we have the keypad and the little things on the doors. So I was just wondering is APX a scam? Because I was just watching on youtube that if you have a sign for a security system that it will attract robbers and I’m sort of scared. All though that may not be true. But is APX a scam? Because I also saw on youtube that another system was a scam…. So yeah I’m worried. Can anyone answer this question? Thanks…
APX is not a scam. From what ive found they are one of the largest alarm companies in the US. My grandparents purchased a system a year ago and they seem to like it. When i researched them i found out the company is based out of Utah and many people are very frustrated with their “pushy sales tactics and contract.” When i asked my grandparents about the sales guy they said he was nice and informative and they knew it was a three year contract. So all in all the company is legit but sounds like their are a few shady salesman who don”t inform customers about the contract.
